Pakistan, Sept. 19 -- Food-delivery and passenger riders using motorcycles have raised concerns that the Prime Minister's Fuel Relief Scheme is failing to adequately address their fuel burden, as the monthly quota remains far below the amount of petrol consumed by riders who depend on their bikes for their daily income.
Under the federal scheme, motorcycle and three-wheeler users are entitled to a Rs100 per litre relief on up to 20 litres of petrol per month. The subsidy is provided through digital fuel tokens, with motorcycles eligible for 5-litre tokens.
