Pakistan, Sept. 28 -- A Rescue 1122 rescuer, Imtiaz, who was critically injured when an ambulance came under attack while transporting victims of the Darazinda blast, succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Sunday. According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson Imtiaz, an HTV rescuer of Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan was seriously wounded in the attack on the ambulance while he was performing his duty to transport victims of the deadly blast at the Aman Mela joint checkpost in Darazinda. The Rescue 1122 ambulance came under fire while transporting the bodies of victims of the blast on Saturday. The attack left one rescuer martyred and two others critically injured.
