BAJAUR, Aug. 28 -- Two children suffered injuries in a remote-controlled bomb blast in Bajaur on Friday. Police said unidentified people planted the explosive device beside a road in Dama Dola Khwar. Authorities secured the area soon after the explosion.
According to Bajaur DSP, unidentified individuals placed the explosive material along the roadside. They later detonated the device remotely, injuring the two children. Police quickly moved to secure the area and began initial investigations.
Police said the injured children are 10 and 11 years old. Rescue teams took both children to the District Headquarters Hospital in Khar. Doctors provided medical treatment after the children suffered injuries in the blast.
