Pakistan, Aug. 17 -- Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said jail authorities and the judiciary would be responsible if former prime minister Imran Khan faces negligence in medical treatment.

Speaking during a Senate session, Sanaullah responded to concerns raised by the opposition leader about Khan's health and medical care while he remains in custody.

He said Khan is currently under the responsibility of jail authorities and judicial oversight, making these institutions accountable for any failure to provide appropriate treatment or medical facilities.
