Pakistan, July 14 -- At least 11 people, including women and children, were killed and 12 others injured after the roof of a mud house collapsed during heavy rainfall in Kohat, highlighting the dangers posed by monsoon weather in vulnerable communities.

The tragic incident occurred on Monday in Malagin, a mountainous village on the outskirts of Kohat, where a family gathering was underway when the roof of the earthen house suddenly gave way.
