Pakistan, May 30 -- The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rain, thunderstorms, and dust storms in parts of Sindh on June 1. The weather system could provide relief after days of extreme temperatures across the province. Residents in several districts are expected to experience changing weather conditions as heatwave impacts continue.

According to the PMD, isolated areas in Qambar Shahdadkot, Dadu, Mirpurkhas, and Tharparkar may receive light to moderate rainfall. The department said severe heat and westerly winds affecting northern regions could trigger thunderstorm activity. However, most districts of Sindh are expected to remain under heatwave conditions until Saturday.
