Pakistan, Aug. 28 -- Diplomatic efforts to ease the Iran war are increasingly focusing on reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Qatar is pushing Tehran to restore freedom of navigation through the key waterway. Iran has agreed to prepare conditions for restoring normal shipping. The United States, meanwhile, has shifted toward economic pressure on Tehran. However, peace talks between Washington and Tehran remain stalled.
