Pakistan, Aug. 6 -- Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a major reshuffle of the country's military leadership on Wednesday. The changes are intended to strengthen the Defence Ministry's structure based on experience gained during the war in Ukraine.

Speaking at a meeting with senior defence officials, Putin said the military command was being reorganised to meet operational requirements. He announced new appointments to the Unmanned Systems Forces, Combined Rear Services, and two key military groupings.
