Pakistan, June 10 -- The Punjab government has finalised a budget framework of Rs5.13 trillion for the fiscal year 2026-27. The plan outlines major fiscal allocations and support measures for the federal government. It matters for Pakistan's overall economic planning and fiscal stability.

According to official sources, Punjab is also prepared to offer a financial concession of Rs570 billion to the federal government. The move is aimed at helping reduce the national fiscal deficit. It is also expected to support International Monetary Fund targets.
