Pakistan, June 15 -- The Punjab government is set to present a Rs5,131 billion budget for fiscal year 2026-27. The plan prioritizes health, education, social welfare, and development spending. The budget will directly impact public services, employees, and welfare programmes across the province.

According to official sources, total expenditure is estimated at Rs3,569.6 billion for the next fiscal year. Meanwhile, Rs580.2 billion has been allocated for operational expenses. In addition, salary adjustments for government employees will follow the federal government's decision.
