Pakistan, May 9 -- The Punjab government has not yet finalized the schedule for summer vacations in schools, according to the provincial education minister. Officials said discussions are ongoing on multiple proposals regarding the duration and timing of the holidays. A final decision is expected in the coming days.

Earlier reports suggested that summer vacations in government schools could begin soon and continue for several weeks. However, the School Education Department has only prepared initial proposals, which are still awaiting official approval from the provincial government.
