Pakistan, May 2 -- Punjab' Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday said the Punjab government, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, is establishing a state-of-the-art film city to revive the "declining" film industry and generate employment opportunities for millions of youth on global standards, with the project targeted for completion by 2029 and private sector involvement planned.
While speaking exclusively to a local media outlet, she highlighted that under the Chief Minister's leadership, record funds have been allocated and significant progress has been made across multiple sectors, including education, health, tourism and sports.
