Pakistan, Aug. 8 -- The government of Punjab has taken a landmark step toward reviving Pakistan's family theatre tradition by bringing the highly anticipated stage production "Friends of the '70s" to the Lahore Arts Council, Alhamra, from August 8 to August 14.

Inspired by the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif to provide healthy, meaningful, and family-oriented entertainment, the production reflects a renewed commitment to restoring the dignity of Pakistani theatre while strengthening the province's cultural landscape.
