Pakistan, Sept. 18 -- The Punjab government has proposed a Rs4.23 billion residential project for government officials in Lahore. The scheme forms part of the province's development budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year. According to official documents, the Services and General Administration Department proposed the project. It plans to construct the apartments on 60 kanals and one marla of government land. The proposed site lies along Burki Road in Lahore Cantonment. The project includes 24 two-bedroom apartments for government officials.
