Pakistan, June 16 -- The Punjab government presented a Rs5.903 trillion budget for fiscal year 2026-27, proposing a 7 percent salary increase for employees. The budget also includes a 3.5 percent pension raise and significant allocations for development sectors. Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman unveiled the budget in the provincial assembly after receiving cabinet approval.
