Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- The Punjab government has decided to upgrade hundreds of high schools to higher secondary level, allowing students to continue their FA and FSc education at the same institutions after completing matriculation. The initiative aims to improve access to higher secondary education and reduce the need for students to move to other schools.

As part of the plan, the School Education Department has started collecting detailed information from high schools across the province. In addition, all shortlisted institutions will undergo independent third-party inspections to assess whether they meet the required standards before approval for upgradation is granted.
