Pakistan, July 4 -- The Punjab goveronment has formally launched a modern evidence-based traffic challaning system across the province, under which every traffic challan will now be issued with complete proof, including video footage and photographs.

According to a spokesperson for the traffic police, citizens will receive an alert SMS from 8070 in case of a traffic violation, containing a link to the evidence of the offence. Through the link, citizens will be able to view videos and images related to their traffic violation.
