Pakistan, April 24 -- Punjab launches Apna Khet Apna Rozgar Scheme Portal as Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz formally inaugurated the initiative in Lahore. The program aims to support unemployed farmers by providing land and creating sustainable income opportunities across rural areas.
Under the scheme, more than 88,000 families are expected to benefit from 13,812 agricultural plots across different districts. The government plans to improve rural livelihoods and strengthen the agricultural sector through this large-scale initiative.
According to the official statement, eligible farmers will receive land for a period of 10 years. Each successful applicant will be allocated agricultural land worth between 2.5 million and 4 million rupees. Ho...
