Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- Punjab government's Apni Chhat Apna Ghar project has won the United Nations Human Settlements Programme Scroll of Honour Award. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz received the international award in Muscat. The recognition places the provincial housing project among initiatives honoured internationally.

Only five selected countries received the award this year, according to the information provided. Recipients also included Myanmar's Htoo Weng, Brazil's Thiago Baurmann Guibert, Tunisia's Abdelmalek Ghanem and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
