Pakistan, Sept. 13 -- In order to prevent corruption and merit violations in Punjab, the Housing Department has decided to conduct a special examination of the financial and administrative affairs of the Punjab Housing and Town Planning (PHATA). On the direction of the Secretary Housing, a special fact-finding committee has been constituted to conduct an audit of Phata for the financial year 2025-26 along with investigating the alleged irregularities, unauthorized changes and financial losses, the notification of which has also been issued.
