Pakistan, May 31 -- Punjab is expected to experience hot and dry weather after the recent rain-producing weather system moved away from the region. Following a brief period of cooler conditions and scattered rainfall, sunshine returned across many cities on Sunday morning, signaling the start of a gradual rise in temperatures throughout the province.
The Meteorological Department has forecast predominantly dry weather across Punjab during the next 24 hours, with temperatures continuing to climb. Officials expect minimum temperatures to remain around 26 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperatures could reach nearly 38 degrees Celsius in several areas, increasing discomfort during daytime hours.
