Pakistan, May 16 -- Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in her message on the International Day of Families, urged people to renew their commitment to love, respect and strong family ties, stating that family is the greatest source of strength and happiness.

She said the objective of observing the International Day of Families was to highlight the importance of family in society and promote awareness regarding the value of family life. "Family is not just a word, but another name for love, sincerity and true companionship," she said.
