Pakistan, July 3 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Thursday took notice of the roof collapse at a summer camp operating in a private school in Baghbanpura and sought a report on the incident from the Lahore Commissioner and the Director General of Rescue 1122. The chief minister expressed profound grief and sorrow over the death of a child in the incident and extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family. She commended Rescue 1122 for safely rescuing more than 10 children from the debris and directed the rescue teams to expedite the operation to ensure the safe recovery of any children who might still be trapped under the rubble.
