Pakistan, June 15 -- The Punjab government is set to unveil a budget exceeding Rs5.13 trillion for the 2026-27 fiscal year, with significant allocations proposed for health, education, salaries, pensions and welfare programmes. Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman will present the budget in the provincial assembly after receiving approval from the provincial cabinet. The spending plan aims to strengthen public services while supporting economic activity and employment generation across the province.
