Pakistan, May 18 -- Pakistan is set to experience contrasting weather conditions this week, with severe heat expected in southern regions and rain accompanied by wind and hail in northern and central areas. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) warned that temperatures in parts of Sindh, southern Punjab, and eastern Balochistan may exceed 42 degrees Celsius. The situation matters as extreme weather poses health risks and increases the likelihood of natural hazards.
