Pakistan, July 27 -- The Punjab government has imposed Section 144 across the province for 60 days, banning swimming, bathing, and unauthorized boating at rivers, canals, dams, lakes, and other water bodies due to increasing monsoon-related risks. The Home Department said the restrictions aim to protect lives as heavy rains continue to raise water levels and create dangerous conditions. Authorities have urged the public to avoid entering flooded or unsafe areas during the rainy season.
