Pakistan, May 11 -- The Punjab government has announced summer vacations for schools across the province as temperatures continue to rise ahead of the peak summer season. Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat confirmed on Monday that all educational institutions in the province will observe summer holidays from May 22 to August 24.

According to the minister, academic activities in schools will remain suspended during this period to protect students, teachers, and staff from extreme heat conditions. Regular classes are scheduled to resume on August 24 after the conclusion of the summer break.
