Pakistan, Oct. 29 -- The Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) has announced that an emergent meeting of its General Council will be held on October 31, following directives from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) to ensure compliance with the National Sports Federations (Tenure) Rules, 2025.

According to a press release issued by the federation, the meeting scheduled by the chairman for October 25 was cancelled through a resolution passed by the majority of General Council members on October 15. The federation said the emergent meeting would be held under the authority of PTF President Col. Nabeel Ahmed Rana following an official letter issued by the PSB on October 22, directing the federation to convene its General Council.
