Pakistan, Oct. 11 -- T he Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) continues to strengthen field monitoring and inspections of mobile network infrastructure across the country to improve service quality, coverage, and availability.

During the week from 30th September to 7th October, 2026, PTA's zonal offices' teams inspected total 115 telecom sites across various regions of Pakistan.

The inspections covered 39 sites in Lahore, 17 in Karachi, 16 in Sukkur, 14 each in Multan and Rawalpindi, 8 in Quetta, 4 in Abbottabad, and 3 in Gilgit. The field teams assessed network performance, voice and data services quality, coverage, and the availability of backup power arrangements.
