Pakistan, May 22 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued with bullish trend on Thursday, gaining 3,683.02 points, a positive change of 2.23 percent, closing at 168,514.45 points against 164,831.42 points on the last trading day, according to PSX data.

During the session, the ready market recorded a trading volume of 729.400 million shares with a traded value of Rs 34.992 billion, compared to 386.394 million shares valuing Rs 20.125 billion in the previous session. The market capitalization increased to Rs 18.661 trillion from Rs 18.243 trillion a day earlier.

Out of 490 active companies in the ready market, 330 advanced, 120 declined, and 40 remained unchanged.
