Pakistan, Oct. 29 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued with bullish momentum on Wednesday, gaining 1,269.55 points, a positive change of 0.77 percent, to close at 165,736.76 points against 164,467.20 points recorded in the previous trading session.

The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 578.124 million shares, compared to 401.969 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value increased to Rs 26.203 billion from Rs 18.069 billion.

Market capitalisation increased to Rs 18.329 trillion from Rs 18.214 trillion recorded a day earlier.

Out of 496 companies that traded in the ready market, 269 posted gains, 180 suffered losses, while 47 remained unchanged. Pervez Ahmed Co...
