Pakistan, Sept. 9 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued with bearish trend on Tuesday, losing 993.92 points, a negative change of 0.57 percent, to close at 172,642.16 points against 173,636.08 points recorded in the previous trading session.
The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 722.624 million shares, compared to 679.188 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value surged to Rs 27.942 billion from Rs 23.692 billion.
Market capitalisation decreased to Rs 19.295 trillion from Rs 19.434 trillion recorded a day earlier.
Out of 496 companies that traded in the ready market, 101 posted gains, 359 suffered losses, while 36 remained unchanged, reflecting a downward tren...
