Pakistan, Aug. 28 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on Thursday, losing 47.93 points, a negative change of 0.03 percent, to close at 177,322.78 points against 177,370.71 points recorded in the previous trading session.
The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 614.057 million shares, compared to 644.841 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value increased to Rs34.547 billion from Rs31.365 billion. Market capitalisation declined to Rs19.860 trillion from Rs19.892 trillion recorded a day earlier.
Out of 496 companies that traded in the ready market, 191 posted gains, 279 suffered losses, while 26 remained unchanged, reflecting a bearish trend acros...
