Pakistan, June 23 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Monday, losing 450.89 points, a negative change of 0.25 percent, closing at 178,471.87 points against 178,922.76 points on the last trading day.

During the session, the ready market recorded a trading volume of 807.467 million shares with a traded value of Rs 36.175 billion, compared to 1.050 billion shares valuing Rs 54.137 billion in the previous session. The market capitalization declined to Rs 19.976 trillion from Rs 19.995 trillion a day earlier. Out of 491 active companies in the ready market, 214 advanced, 240 declined and 37 remained unchanged.
