Pakistan, Oct. 10 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) remained bearish on Friday, losing 352.63 points, a negative change of 0.21 percent, to close at 167,089.28 points against 167,441.91 points recorded in the previous trading session.
The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 309.412 million shares, compared to 365.870 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value decreased to Rs15.438 billion from Rs17.722 billion. Market capitalisation declined to Rs18.569 trillion from Rs18.598 trillion recorded a day earlier. Out of 497 companies that traded in the ready market, 243 posted gains, 203 suffered losses, while 51 remained unchanged, reflecting a mixed trend in the market.
