Pakistan, July 31 -- The Pakistan Stock Exchange rebounded on Friday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining nearly 1,380 points before trading paused for the weekly Friday prayer break. The recovery followed recent sessions marked by heightened market volatility.
By midday, the KSE-100 Index had risen 1,378 points, or 0.79%, to 176,926. The benchmark also touched an intraday high of 177,108.66 after opening on a strong note.

During the morning session, the index found support around 176,405.33 before maintaining its upward momentum. Meanwhile, trading volume reached 101.86 million shares, while the value of traded shares stood at Rs6.96 billion.
