Pakistan, Oct. 7 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) staged a robust recovery on Tuesday, gaining 2,592.79 points, a positive change of 1.56 percent, to close at 168,460.11 points against 165,867.32 points recorded in the previous trading session.

The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 432.015 million shares, compared to 441.898 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value increased significantly to Rs 20.139 billion from Rs 15.709 billion.

Market capitalisation increased to Rs 18.712 trillion from Rs 18.464 trillion recorded a day earlier.
