Pakistan, June 4 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on Wednesday, losing 831.13 points, a negative change of 0.49 percent, closing at 170,190.64 points against 171,021.77 points on the last trading day, according to PSX data. During the session, the ready market recorded a trading volume of 551.946 million shares with a traded value of Rs 23.759 billion, compared to 550.790 million shares valuing Rs 27.444 billion in the previous session. The market capitalization decreased to Rs 18.864 trillion from Rs 18.940 trillion a day earlier.

Out of 491 active companies in the ready market, 183 advanced, 267 declined, and 41 remained unchanged.
