Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) stayed bearish on Monday, losing 2,288.17 points, a negative change of 1.36 percent, to close at 165,867.32 points against 168,155.49 points recorded in the previous trading session amid escalating geopolitical tensions and increasing political noise at home.

The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 441.898 million shares, compared to 493.957 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value decreased to Rs15.709 billion from Rs17.491 billion.

Market capitalisation decreased to Rs18.464 trillion from Rs18.725 trillion recorded a day earlier.
