Pakistan, Nov. 4 -- Adviser to Finance Minister Khurram Schezad has said that the equity investor base at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) recorded an all-time high monthly increase of 25,747 in October 2026, which was up by 66 percent on year on year, taking the total investor base to a record 681,965.

In just 10 months of 2026 (Jan-Oct), PSX added 218,894 net new investors- more than the previous four full calendar years (2022-2025) combined, and nearly matching the additions of the previous five years (2021-2025), he posted on X.
