Pakistan, Oct. 27 -- T he benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bullish momentum on Monday, gaining 663.59 points, a positive change of 0.41 percent, to close at 163,038.47 points against 162,374.88 points recorded in the previous trading session.

The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 376.019 million shares, compared to 398.942 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value decreased to Rs16.192 billion from Rs18.203 billion. Market capitalisation increased to Rs18.061 trillion from Rs18.014 trillion recorded a day earlier.

Out of 495 companies that traded in the ready market, 196 posted gains, 251 suffered losses, while 48 remained unchanged.
