Pakistan, Aug. 3 -- Private sector borrowing reached its highest level in four years during the last fiscal year, according to Finance Minister's Adviser Khurram Shehzad. He said businesses received Rs11.38 trillion in financing during fiscal year 2025-26. Moreover, the increase reflects stronger economic activity and improved access to credit. Officials believe the trend supports investment and production across key sectors.
