Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- Princess Anne has sent a touching tribute to Princess Astrid of Norway following her funeral in Oslo. A wreath of white roses carried a handwritten message from the Princess Royal.

The wreath was placed at Ris Church, where Astrid's family, friends and fellow royals gathered to remember her. It was signed simply "Anne" and carried the message, "With love and happy memories."

No British royals attended the funeral, but Buckingham Palace paid tribute to the late Norwegian royal. Anne had attended King Harald's funeral earlier this month alongside Prince William.
