Pakistan, June 30 -- President Asif Ali Zardari has promulgated the OGRA Amendment Ordinance 2026, introducing changes to key provisions of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Ordinance, 2002, as part of the federal government's legislative measures for the energy sector.

According to an official statement, the ordinance amends Sections 2 and 3 of the OGRA Ordinance, 2002. The measure was issued by the president on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in accordance with the constitutional provisions governing the promulgation of ordinances.
