Pakistan, May 1 -- President Asif Ali Zardari have paid tribute to the workers of Pakistan and reaffirmed the government's commitment to protecting labour rights, ensuring fair wages and promoting dignified working conditions.

In his message on International Labour Day, the president said the day commemorates the historic struggle of workers who sacrificed their lives for fundamental rights, including fair wages and reasonable working hours, laying the foundation of modern labour protections.
