Pakistan, June 18 -- Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz have reached an agreement to form a government in Gilgit-Baltistan. The deal finalizes a power-sharing arrangement between the two major political parties. The development is expected to shape the region's political landscape.
PPP leader Naveed Qamar confirmed the agreement in a media interaction. He said both sides had reached consensus on key positions, including the offices of governor and deputy speaker. The agreement follows recent high-level contacts between the party leadership.
