Pakistan, April 26 -- The Power Division has urged the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority to remove licensing requirements and related fees for small solar energy users with systems up to 25 kilowatts in Pakistan. Officials say the move aims to simplify access to renewable energy and reduce administrative hurdles for households adopting solar power solutions. The proposal comes amid growing concerns that current regulations are slowing down small-scale solar adoption across the country.
