Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- The Ministry of Energy's Power Division has established a Power Sector Data Governance Council and introduced a sector-wide Data Governance Framework to ensure the quality, verification, exchange and effective use of data for more than 40 million electricity consumers.

The initiative aims to establish common standards and coordinated procedures for managing data across the power sector, supporting more reliable and integrated information for policymaking, planning, regulation, monitoring and investment decisions.
