Pakistan, April 17 -- Power Division has reported a notable improvement in electricity supply across Pakistan, driven by a sharp rise in hydropower generation. Moreover, officials confirmed that increased water discharge from dams significantly enhanced overall electricity production. As a result, the national load management duration has reduced considerably in recent days.

According to official data, hydropower generation increased by 2,300 megawatts following improved water flow from major reservoirs. In addition, water discharge levels were raised from 8,000 cusecs to 30,000 cusecs, enabling higher energy output.
