Pakistan, April 26 -- At least nine people including policemen sustained injuries when a police and ambulance vehicle was ambushed by unknown miscreants.
Bajaur police spokesman told reporters on Saturday that in the Rashkai area of Khar tehsil in Bajaur, unidentified outlaws opened fire on a police vehicle and rescue ambulance, injuring 9 people, including 5 police personnel.
The spokesman said a total of nine people were injured in the incident, including a rescue driver and three civilians. After the incident, a heavy police contingent cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
